Scale Mail or Chain Mail? 5th Edition If I have a +2 in DEX, is there a functional difference between Scale Mail and Chain Mail? The way I see it, both armors would provide 16 AC and a disadvantage to Stealth, barring magic items and feats, of course. The only difference is that Scale Mail is 25 gp cheaper. Am I wrong or missing something?
